In the wake of the Bergler revelations - and Jamie Gorelick's memo which essentially set the stage for 911- one has to wonder what kind of toilet paper this report will be
My guess is it will rival the Warren Report
The heroes of 911 deserved better
Look at this and you will know:
But the spokesman for the Sept. 11 commission, Al Felzenberg, told The Hill that the panel allowed W.W. Norton to print 500,000 soft-cover copies, which will sell for $10 apiece. Norton bears all of the financial risk, and neither members of the Sept. 11 panel nor the commission will receive royalties.
The panel picked Norton because it had the ability to release the book quickly and the panel liked the aesthetics and durability of the paper. The GPO will release the report and post it on the Internet.
I agree:
Warren Report, Doux
If I remember correctly, Warren set it up so that the entire facts would only be releases 75 years(?) after the event? I believe this is correct: I was a kid, but I remember my father's rage over this ruling.
We all know clinton was too busy attending his pud and hanging onto power by murdering his inconvenient friends to give one fig about national security. One wonders what ELSE! Burglar was up to.
I want to know if they are going to mention the fact that Gore's recommendation to harden cockpit doors was taken down in exchange for campaign donations from the airline industry.
