Black bloc - hard lefties using anarchist type tactics, dress in dark clothing, civil disobedience, wear masks, destroy property, scatter whenever confronted to regroup at another part of the protest.

Roaming vandals. They are a bunch of thugs that show up at WTO summits and the like, dressed in black with ski masks and such along with the usual crowd. They then split apart from the main protest and start smashing anything they can find that they don't agree with: Starbucks, etc

The "black block" are a bunch of social misfits/wankers/perpetual foul ups that have the strange idea that anarchy is freedom at its finest & that it is their right to riot in the streets & that it is protected free speech .

They are generally anarchists with socialist/marxist utopian fantasies about how great everything would be if only they were allowed to run things . The notion that they have that running riot in the streets is merely their expressing /exercising of their rights is mistaken it is not anarchy ,it is simply the black block being a public nuisance.

Anarchy would be when the black block starts throwing rocks at the police the police respond with flamethrowers instead of pepperspray . Tell that to a black block member & then watch the expression on its face.
