If so, I am obligated to state that I was wrong about the pubs in Congress, at least Delay and the house. I really didn't expect them to hold off the AWB extension.

The fat lady hasn't sung yet, and lets save the celebration until she does. If nothing else, the gun grabbers are sneaky. Not to mention underhanded and lying.

Not if it's attached on the Senate floor to something else. That's more or less how we got the machine gun ban. Even the AWB ban itself was part of "Bill's Crime", AKA the 1994 Omnibus Crime Control Bill ( Crime Control Act after it was passed) . It was title XI of that act, rather than a stand alone bill, although like the AWB extension, it started that way.
