The same thing occurred to me. I don't think ANYONE from middle eastern countries should even be allowed to enter America in this time of increased security risk.

Yep, if you recall the DHS info for a condition RED, they can close down roads and transportation as well as public and government facilities, stop banking/trading activity, pretty much shut the whole country down.

All the National Security measures, plans, goals and funding and intel agency re-shuffling is USELESS as long as our borders remain wide open for ANYONE or ANYTHING to cross. Is this some kind of evil-conspiracy by both parties to absolutly DESTROY America???

I told the clerk that he was in a unique position to spot accents and if there was anyone passing themselves off as Mexican that didn't speak like a Mexican then he should report it to HS. He hadn't heard anything about terrorists trying to cross over.

I have zero problems with Mexicans coming here in good faith to look for work. However I have BIG problems with the totally open border. I can't see any way to prevent walk-ins without building an Israeli-style wall. Then the "legitimate illegals" would just have to come through the official crossing points with Allah detectors.
