Q(Peter Keating) - What's your favorite Sports Movie?
Kerry: """Boy, oh Boy, I've seen so many. I loved Knute Rockne All American. That's old school. Adam Sandler, what was that, The Waterboy? I've covered some territory. The Longest Yard. What was the one, oh, Slapshot - Paul Newman, the Hanson Brothers. (Laughs) That F---ing scene where they're trying to get a Coke, did you ever see the movie? (Laughs) They....they get the ...they go out on the ice...oh, it's just funny."""

Personally, I don't care that he uses it since I have a bad mouth at times(Still there's a thing called time and place), but the left needs to STFU(pun intended) about Cheney then, and at least Cheney didn't say it to be 'cool'.
Slapshot is a great movie. I agree with him on that. That said, Johnny probably identified with the kid at the end. I'm not sure if anyone said "Jack Robinson" or not.......

One of the few bad things about the movie was indeed the liberal twerp who would not get in the spirit of the thing.

A poorly-aging 60 year old metrosexual with coiffed hair trying to sound like a kid. "That's old school?" One of the most pathetic people I have ever seen.

My thoughts exactly, "old school"? How many people over the age of 30-something use that line?
He's so hip, so now, so wow, so c-o-o-o-l!
(I really like your tagline!)

"I'm with you. So what."
How many letters to the editor and opinion pieces did you see on Kerry's now three times (I believe) use of the F-bomb, as compared to Vice-President Cheney's?

I find it hard to believe that a stiff like Kerry would find the Hanson Brothers in Slapshot funny, or would even watch that movie. It reeks of blue collar desperation and struggling to make a living....something he has no concept of.

There's a world of difference between Cheney using the F word in a private conversation and John Kerry using it in an interview with the national media!!

If this is on tape it a huge mistake. It will be played many times between now and the election.
Chenney's comments were made in private to a person who is an ahole. They were not made for mass consumption.
It's a totally different situation when you intensionally curse on an interview while running for office of president of the United States. I don't know if he thinks it is cool, but I'm not impressed.

I'm below
20 and I don't use that phrase! The fact that a freakishly dorky almost-senior citizen can use it to try to sound young is nothing short of frightening.
(I like my tagline too!)

Anybody who laughed at "Waterboy" is not qualified to be presidentI second the motion, and in addition, anyone who laughs at anything Adam Sandler has done, or will do, is not qualified to be President.

Ummmm.....re: your tagline.
Nobody gets to claim anyone on their W-2.
You need to do that on your W-4.
I'm certain you'll never read this as I'm also certain that you are merely a hit-and-run artist.

I typed that part out. Puff piece in ESPN Mag's Page 132. "The contender"

I'm irked that he'd use it since it's one of my favorite terms.
But I'm 25 and not 60 either.

For Unauthorized Carnal Knowledge. Interesting how an old british military acronym became such a popular curse word.
Cheney's use of the word was spontaneous and provoked, thus, in my mind, more excusable than Kerry's incorporating it into his everyday speech.
All politics aside, Kerry is just a jerk. I cannot believe anyone is going to vote for him, let alone half the country. Geez louise.
