I did notice their lame sources. The Boston Globe, The New Yorker and wasn't the other guy his biographer?

Kind of a neat scam though. Establish your web site as a source for debunking myths, and you have established "credibility". I was pointed to this site and was pretty suspicious after reading the Swift Boat Vets stuff.

Thanks all for the further dissection. Appreciated!

"The point is that people shouldn't be putting in *their own* chits for medals. It is technically workable, but it displays a lack of class and lack of respect for the others that went before."

More importantly, it shows a lack of humility and integrity. Kerry's one arrogant, dishonest s.o.b., and we don't need those types running our country anymore. Clinton did enough damage. And believe it or not, I think even Bill Clinton has more personal integirty than Kerry does. John Kerry will do anything, anything at all, for power. Even to the point of marrying a rich widow for her money and flip-flopping on every issue according to which way the political wind is blowing that day.

I've been sort of wondering about Snopes myself. Recently, I checked it out for the origin of Edgar Rice Burroughs' "Tarzan of the Apes." They claimed that this was the first book written by Mr. Burroughs. Even though that may be literally true (and I don't know if it is or not), it is very misleading. This is because his "A Princess of Mars", which was ultimately released in book form, was published in a magazine some time before "Tarzan of the Apes" was.

And they didn't even mention this little detail, although they went into great detail on about everything else.

There should be a way of finding other vets, in the same duty, who got 3 Purple Hearts, a Silver Star, and a Bronze Star in 4 months.

While not in the same kind of duty, LtCol. (later Colonel) David H. Hackworth collected four Purple Hearts in four months as commander of the 4/39th Infantry in the Mekong Delta. He tried to hide his awards from General Abrams, but Abrams found out and relieved him before he got killed. All four were bullet wounds. In the same period, Col Hackworth earned Five Silver Stars. He may be considered to be a publicity whore by some on this site, but his courage in both Korea and Vietnam cannot be questioned.

Well, I shall give the weasel the credit of getting there to impress people with the fact he served, then weaseling out of the combat area in warpdrive speed before he returned home and slandered all of the men he left behind.

Smarts used for perversion do not impress me.

And the fact that his tax return showed zero investment income? Not impressive either. I know he gets a federal pension from being a senator but zero?

He married wealth, and does not give a fig about investing any of his own money.

Just another slimy leftist creep, number one liberal in the entire senate.
