Please note that these scenarios are all projections based on past behavior. In other words, it assumes that people who are in grade school now will not provide for their own old age the same way every one always has by having children to take care of them.

The other thing that is never mentioned, in spite of al the information we get on Islamic countries these days, is that there is a 15% disparity between men and women in their populations according to UN statistics.
