DAILY REPORT: Democratic National Convention, Live from the Speech Zone

CONSERVATIVES GET THE GULAG, COMMUNISTS GET THE STREETS

Boston – A host of radical socialist movements were allowed to march freely today in front of the Fleet Center, where the Democratic Party is gathering to hold its National Convention. At the same time, conservative protesters were required to gather inside the "speech zone" that has a capacity, at best, of only a few hundred people within earshot of a stage that was set up inside "Camp Ashcroft-Kerry" (not the 1,000 claimed by the city before the Federal Court). This is exactly what the Justice Department, courtesy of an assistant district attorney, requested before a Federal judge last week (the local District Attorney’s Office of the Justice Department is run by a former crony of Liberal Massachusetts Governor Weld and staffed largely by Clintonistas [when Clinton came to power in early 1993 he fired nearly every staffer of the Justice Department’s regional DAs offices and top ranks of the Marshals Service to put in place his own cadres – this cadre remains largely intact today]). Photos taken from the "speech zone" today are available at New Republican Archive, and reveal that both the Justice Department and Kerry loyalists in the City of Boston are jointly seeking to corral conservative and anti-abortion protesters into a barbed-wire pen watched by police, including some armed with dogs (located at the "zone’s" entrance), and even what appears to have been an intelligence officer (affiliation unknown) capturing certain protest groups on film.

The twisted irony of these events is that the very groups openly advocating revolutionary terror and glorification of the man who invented modern state-sponsored terrorism, V.I. Lenin, were given the streets while peaceful anti-Democrat protesters were coerced into speaking non-freely inside what looks a lot like a small detention facility. While young radical anarchists wearing T-shirts of Che Guevara, and one even a flag of the Cuban terrorist icon from the 1960s, marched outside the zone under the Cuban and Haitian flags (the Leftist icon, Jean Bertrand Aristide of Haiti, featured prominently in the march sponsored by the pro-North Korean and pro-Cuban radical group called ANSWER), peaceful anti-abortion protesters had to content themselves with writing messages in chalk inside "the camp."

Today, we also learned that a previously approved permit for an anti-abortion group to hold a vigil outside John Kerry’s Beacon Hill residence was pulled at the last moment. Based on reports over the past week, it appears that a number of groups that Boston’s left-wing Democratic mayor "Mumbles" Menino, has sought to marginalize, have had permits for things like putting up posters and holding protests withdrawn during the run-up to the Convention. They have been left with only the option of holding meetings well out of sight and out of ear shot of convention delegates, who enter the Fleet Center on the opposite side of the building from the "speech zone."

PLENTY of the protesters that will be in the 'Free Speech Zone' would love to spend some quality private time with Ms. England.

Of course, they all have haircuts like Lynndie's as well.

HEY RNC!

Get McCain inside there next time he does an interview with the press. Let America see how much the Dems really care about civil liberties!

Steve Doucey (FoxNews) is reporting from Boston.

Jeanine Garofalo is staying at the same hotel Steve is.

E.D. says, 'She must be low on the [Democrat] totem poll if she's staying at that hotel.'

Is this going to be the 'live thread'?

If so, can we get this posted and pasted in BREAKING so we won't get a bunch of new 'Dem Conv Live' threads during the day?
