His reference to a "chemical bomb" probably refers to something as simple as a "Drano bomb", made by putting Drano into a 2 liter plastic bottle along with some aluminum foil, then putting the cap on the bottle. The chemical reaction causes gas expansion and makes a loud boom. Typical kid stuff, not terrorism.

If that deputy was from most of Florida's counties, he would have picked himself up by using the scrawny neck of the politician as a hand rail.
Most officers see themselves as protecting the Constitution - arguably a somewhat arcane and little known intellectual construct to the likes of Kerry.
