Yeah, that line was lame. But you're making him out to be far worse than he was. He -devastated- Clinton with the point that he resents people making $200,000-300,000 a year and paying 35% in taxes, when they're running a candidate who has around 500 million and is paying 18% in taxes. That rocked.

Joe isn't "selling out" or "playing to the media". MOST of Kerry's military record is highly questionable, but the part about his turning around and going into fire to pick up a fallen comrade, the Bronze Star episode, is the only part of his record that -isn't- bloviated to hell to my knowledge. It's not unfair to give him kudos for that. The Silver Star is another story.

I'm glad Scarborough was on that panel, otherwise it would've been wall to wall liberal. Joe made some great points for our side on that panel, and prevented the libs on it from getting several cheap shots through. Given how good his performance was otherwise, I can forgive him that one line.

I didn't bother going there, because of that other fathead Chris Matthews. I quit watching the Convention on FOX News because it's totally unwatchable, and they have the crowd noise louder than the talking heads in the booth. I'm hard of hearing as it is, but all I could here was the squawking of Patti LaBelle in the background during the roundtable discussion. FOX News will end up losing viewers if this trend in audio levels keeps up.

He said it. I was sickened. Turned of TV then as that was enough for one night.

I thought the same thing when I saw that.Shameful!

Scarborough said that when John Kerry was facing the enemy,he turned his boat to shore to go after them.

Scarborough said that showed that Kerry had mettle and it didn't matter that it happened 30 years ago,

that if Kerry was faced with terrorist as President he would

do the same thing today. He then

said he would feel safe with Kerry as President.

Speak for yourself Joe.I would not feel safe at all with Kerry as Pres.

Is Joe's show repeated later tonight? I'd like to check out his comments myself.

Unfortunately, I heard it, too.

Scarborough seems to need to be cool and accepted.

That, or he really is mesmerized by Kerry.

Which would mean he's the pussy I've always thought he is.

"who turned the boat towards the enemy"

A Navy man told me last night that in this case the enemy's weapon could only shoot about 50 feet and the smart thing was to go in the opposite direction, but Kerry went toward the enemy, putting the guys in the boat in danger. Then, the enemy was blasted and dead, but Kerry got out of the boat and shot the guy, then he took the cannister of the weapon which couldn't have been used again. Then he got back in water to his boat. One of the rules was to not leave boat, because it puts your men in danger. As you can see, I am not military, but I can see that he can't make good decisions.

Kristol has always been useless.

The other day I saw a panel with Rather, Jennings, Browkae and the gang, and when the sunject of media bias came up, Rather cited a Kristol quote that basically said the Conservative "The Media is liberal" charge was overblown.

Kristol is so weak-- three "conservative" operatives I would love to lose are O'Reilly, Kristol and Scarborough. All do more harm to our side than good-- the 3 of them are terribly insecure, they want the miberal media to like them.

he really is mesmerized by Kerry.

Well that is a theory, but a dubious one. I wouldn't be mesmerized by Kerry even under hypnosis, after taking a few tokes. I would likely be more mesmerized by my cat. At least she purrs. LOL.

Oh for heaven's sake! I watched the whole thing, and Scarborough couldn't have been a bigger sycophant.

His dreamy "Kerry turned the boat toward the shore" horse dropping was his theme of the night.

I'd swear the boy had stars in his eyes and hard nipples over John Kerry.

What's he gonna do on Thursday night?

It was sickening.

I think it would be a no brainer for the liberal media to take Scarboroughs comments and introduce them as what a Former GOPer from the Gingrich revolution said. And if he can meet the Scarborough challenge (Joe S likes to bill himself as the definitive Red State conservative patriot), they'll argue that Kerry has passed the "CIC" threshold.

Not that I am a Kerry supporter in any way, BUT his policy is that he will put more troops in Iraq and stay there longer. Not exactly a pacifist policy. Nor one that is semmingly opposed to the WOT.

So, I would be more comfortable with Kerry over Dean et al. Kerry does not have his head in the sand regarding the WOT. He will respond.

I will not vote fo him. Flame away.

The "below the surface" info on Joe Scarborough from locals that I know. He represented the Panhandle of Florida, Eglin AFB, Special Ops Command, Pensacola Naval Air, lots of savvy people, and did not run for what was a shoe in election, because he had both family and personal problems brought on by "white powder", which would have been revealed in any campaign. MSNBC and its demo supporters of Bill(arkansas white line fever)Clinton, loves to have Joe, who is all about himself, and,if you listen to him, still on the stuff. Kerry and the Dems are the same people, only with more mega bucks protection. See wikipedia.com about Kerry to learn of his "resources"- by far the wealthiest person to ever have run for the presidency--- he WANTS the power- and should not be given it.

Joe Scarborough allows his emotions get to him, he was a Maverick, (much like John McCain) when he was in Congress and I'm sure McCain would react much like Scarborough did tonight. Niether of them have any backbone, they shift with the wind

Do you really believe what he said?

God, you're a cheap date. That is what he's saying to get elected. Kerry , who bugged out of Nam after 4 months, who weakened America's position at the table with the North Vietnamese.

He voted for the Wara nd then voted against the troops. His Nat'l Security record stinks.

This is really sick.

Scarborough is a total loser. I am in shock. He basically said, "I would feel safe going to bed at night with John Kerry, who turned the boat towards the enemy, in the White House."

Weird. What are the odds that John Kerry would allow Joe Scarborough to go to bed with him in the White House?

I don't necessarily believe him - but why would he say these things - to solidify the base?

I saw Joe's "tribute" to kerry.

I had to change the channel. I had a flash of Joe in a "Monica" position, asking kerry to dump "theresa",and see if kerry could find a Mass "Judge" who works late.....

JOE WAS TOTALLY SICKENING !!!
