IMO, he was one of the men whose "specimen" showed up on Condit's apartment.
He has been known to publically joke about an affair with one of his staffers. Curiously enough, that staffer is dead (no conspiracy theories though, it appeared to be an accident). I remember reading an Atlantic Monthly article that mentioned this a month or so ago.
