The blood red color choice for the shirts was especially creepy.

"In many areas of the country, women who have undergone abortions have become leaders of the pro-life movement."

This speaks volumes, and I greatly respect a women who would do this. It must be hard to be honest about your hindsight in this situation.

I have an idea for PP. They should sell the shirts, "I had an abortion" and on the back say "...and this is what it looks like" with a dead baby on the back.

I am sure those shirts would sell like "hotcakes" (sarcasm off).

I support their shirts - and let people see who advocates the murder of innocent babies.

Bring it all out into the forefront where it cannot be any longer ignored by the masses of un-caring Americans

I think that publicising the fact that they're an ABORTION organization, and that they're proud of killing (any baby, any size, for any reason!) is a terrific idea. If enough people (i.e., VOTERS) notice, maybe the government will stop giving PP our tax money and pretending it's for "women's health"!

But Planned Parenthood defends the decision to sell the controversial shirts. Planned Parenthood President Gloria Feldt said the shirts let women "stand up for choice."

Planned Parenthood has no conscience. Abortion mills are run by organized crime for the most part, and the rest are sociopaths. Their blindness won't let them see that they don't allow the unborn victim of their heinous murder to have any "choice".

"It's a heart-wrenching decision, but women don't need to be ashamed of it," said Feldt.
That proves they have no conscience. When someone shouldn't feel any shame over murdering an unborn baby, that one has no conscience.

Unbelievable. Clearly, PP failed to consider the type of freak-woman who would buy -and wear- a shirt that says, in effect, " I killed my baby."

It will go nicely with the skull and crossbones tats and the spike tongue stud.

I should think that, in light of the sort of woman most likely to purchase and wear such a shirt, they'd have the option of printing them up as:

"[One|two|three|etc] abortions and counting!"

If I ever run into somebody wearing one of these t-shirts, I will simply ask the following question (loud enough for everybody around to hear):

Are you so proud of killing your unborn child that you want to let the entire world know about it?

Isn't it nice that tax dollars go to support this?

The shirts are a travesty, and abortion is murder.

That said, I find myself a bit put off by the headline of this article.

The article offers no evidence of a huge outcry among "women," just an outcry among a particular set of women in the pro-life/anti-abortion camp.

The problem here is that the article treats "women" as a homogenous group, in precisely the same way the pro-aborts do. Practically speaking, that's a problem.

In my experience, if one can characterize "women" at all on abortion, they are by and large ambivalent on the issue. The worst approach to winning them to our side would be to tell them what they supposedly think.

The moral obscenity of abortion is obvious to us, but for those to whom it's not obvious, they need to be led, not beaten, to the right point of view. This can and should include pointing out the horror of the opposing viewpoint, but it has to be done the right way.
