Former swifty boat commander Bob Elder did a devastating segment on Laura Ingraham's show this morning. He and his group are determined that American will know the truth of John Kerry's Vietnam record.
Elder says that two of the Purple Hearts were the result of Kerry's own hand. He had to put in for them himself. One was turned down twice and Kerry finally got someone in Saigon to come through for him.
Kerry left his comrades in arms and then turned on them accusing them of hideous war crimes. Three men Elder knows were kept for seven years and tortured. They could have been released if they said five simple words: I am a war criminal. They didn't say it. They didn't have to say it. Kerry did it for them.
Kerry was aloof from the rest. He made it clear that he was out for himself and to created his own JFK resume. He made it clear that he was doing this so he could create a path to the White House for himself.
Before this is over, Elder, Sampley, O'Neill and the rest of these patriots are going to stop this phony from becoming our commander in chief.
We will agree to disagree. Hannity is an intellectual lightweight.
That's the thing about talk radio if you broadcast at more than about the second year of college level you loose your audience anyway, but he is good and does lots of little inside radio stuff that makes a huge difference.

Kerry got a Bronze Star with "V" (for valor) for that.
However, other Navy Personnel have said that he shouldn't have received anything. As 'Skipper' it was his duty to go back for anyone blown off his boat as Rassmussen was, or anyone who otherwise went overboard. And to not go back would have been Dereliction of Duty.
Collectively, we have the largest audience. It's made up of our families, friends, and anyone else we know who's willing to listen. The advantage we have is that our audience gets to see us "up close and personal". Don't discount the grassroots. I think kerry has.
Elder said he simply went back and plucked him out of the water. He was not under enemy fire.
I pray they succeed.
Unfortunately, this happens way too often with too many great guests and too many talk show hosts. Let the guest address the issue you invited them on to discuss!

According to Elder, on that same mission when Rassmussen fell off the Kerry boat, someone else fell off another boat on the mission. That person was picked up like Rassmussen, but no medal was awarded. According to Elder, there was no hostile fire at the time of the rescues.
After all, anyone who didn't know for whom to vote 60 days ago is either (1) too stupid and uninformed to be allowed to vote--a probable majority, or (2) looking for the candidate who will perform the largest buyout.
I hope you are correct, but I'm still cynical.
