Libya vs. the Saudis ... can you imagine that war? ... the Saudis would probably prevail in the air with their F-15S Eagles and if their American M1A1 tanks could get to Libya they'd whip them too ...
and I do believe war would have resulted ...
Either one would have to get past Egypt to get at the other, and that won't happen.
