Keep a throw-away camera in your car - write down license numbers - call local police.

Excellent post. Vigilence is everyone's business. This spoofing technique is deadly serious.

If you have a cell phone, upgrade to the camera version.

I got turned on by the stories of the kid who snapped a molester's license plate number and emailed it to the cops - caught the guy in an hour.

A store owner became suspicious of two loungers and took their pictures (dunno how) and emailed the cops. One officer recognized the faces from a Wanted poster and came down and snagged them.

I have Sprint and when I went to upgrade, figuring on a $150 charge, they had a promo and I got it free. Costs $15 a month for email services or $1 a pic if you don't. Takes 640x480 pixel quality.

The chances of me running into any suspicious activity out here in the boonies of Eastern Nevada is kinda slim, but then there's that fender-bender type of situation where an instant type of camera might come in handy.
