I went to DU to see if this bothered any of them. Kerry is leaving out his service in the Senate to hide how liberally he voted, and waved the flag last night and mentioned God probably more times than he ever did in his whole life.

I assumed this would offend the principles of the DU'ers, but it seems fine with them. Doesn't it bother them that Kerry is appearing to turn his back on everything they believe?

It does seem odd that he sells out just about every cause the Democrats believe in.

My best feeling about this is that they know this is just an act for the rubes dumb enough to believe it, and so they wait patiently for him to become elected so they can cash in on their ideas.

Of course not!

Once the campaign begins, Democrats expect their leaders to lie. Otherwise, they'd never be elected.

To liberals, lying isn't a sin; it's a tactic.

In their hearts, the party faithful know that Kerry will liquidate the Iraq venture as soon as it is politically feasible. We should know that, as well.
