That depends on the magnitude of the attack(s) and government spin. IMO, it will take a LOT of small scale attacks or one massive (50,000+ dead) to wake enough sheeple from their complacent slumber. Come to think of it, it might indeed take 100,000+ dead.
It an outrage that innocent people will have to die.
A one-day body count in the 50,000 or 100,000 range is probably inexorably in our future, sad to say.
Suicide truck bombings are VERY bad news. The human casualties caused by several bombs going off in quick succession could easily eclipse those suffered on 9-11, especially when positioned to maximize potential. My main concern, besides outright prevention and interdiction, is how the sitting president (Bush or Kerry) would respond. Are countries who harbor terrorists STILL responsible for their guests, or was that tough-talk rhetoric? Look at Spain, who made a few arrests but has made ZERO military effort to prevent another attack. Will this be us next?
