I grew up in Philadelphia watching the Eastern Warriors - Judy Arnold, Ruberta Mitchell, Little Yvonne Riggins, and Dru Scott. On the men's team, there was Jim Trotter, Otis Williams, Butch MacCrae, and head coach Buddy Atkinson Jr. Trackside commentary was provided by Ed Darien and Elmer Anderson.

The only thing I can think of is that the Times will take the hits on their site no matter where they come from...even from FreeRepublic.
