It bugged me to hear VH in the background at the 'rat show, but I resist the impulse to write off another of my favorites.

I wish more of them would heed Laura's advice (Shut up & sing!)

Not sure about Eddie and Alex, but I know Sammy backed Bush.

I read and posted on this thread earlier today and then saw VH play this evening here in Denver. I'm still not sure, but I think the "regret" slide was intended to be critical of Bush. On the other hand, there was also a slide in the same song that included a photo of FDNY firefigher's hat and the words, "We will never forget." Also, during Sammy's solo, the video screens had a waving American flag for well over two minutes.

Sammy's did contribute $2,000 to Bush-Cheney 04 and has contributed $4,500 over the years to congressman Dana Rohrabacher.
