I won't even tell you what the temperature is up here today. Let's just say classic SF summer. :0
San Francisco (city proper) is probably one of the few places in the continental U.S. where it's generally 'feel like' colder in the summah than the wintah. To warm up, you have to go - quickly - thru Oakland and up past the Claremont Resort into the Concord area to get sun and warmth.
We may get rather warm here in the summah, but at least we don't get that blasted fog and moisture. Wifey and I used to visit up there regularly until (thankfully) her sister moved to Florida...

That's the truth Ern. I went for a run along the Bay tonight. 25+ mph headwinds...my hands and face were numb. That, plus the fog you mentioned, had me soaking wet and thinking it was October in New England.
