I'd say Ted Kennedy and the liberal media's biased coverage of this did more to help and encourage the enemy than anything she did. 38 years is WAY excessive in my view.

When you raise your right hand, and take the oath of the Armed Forces, you become the property of those forces and theryby fall under the control of their rules. The UCMJ is not like, nor should it be, the civilian criminal code. Don't cry for this miserable little girl...be much more concerned for the reputations of our Armed Forces. I think that she will deserve all she gets...and on top of that she has a "bastard" child to deal with. This is not the type of woman we need in the Armed Forces.

If she spends 38 years in prison, then the media and democrat politicians who jumped on this for political gain should also spend that long. Of course Kennedy is like a greased pig, so forget him. But the others... 38 years is too much.

Thirty-eight years for a frat prank is a bit much...she did a stupid, and wrong thing, but it is hardly worthy of a longer jail term than most murderers get.
