Sharon Stone blames US President George W Bush for the absence of a lesbian kissing scene in Catwoman - because of the current conservative climate in America.
Basic Instinct star Stone, 46, was keen to enjoy an intimate moment with Oscar-winning co-star Halle Berry, but believes a puritanical streak running through the country put an end to any potential girl-on-girl action.
Stone says: "Halle's so beautiful and I wanted to kiss her. I said, 'How can you have us in the movie and not have us kiss? That's such a waste.'
"That's what you get for having George Bush as president."

Actually her first choice was a three-way with Michael Moore.
There are is a difference between being a sexy, classy 50-something woman and the desperation of trying to vamp like a twenty year-old.
She's hot as well!! (And just to make you envious, I chat with her each year at a trade show we both attend/work).
But I've got to be honest...I don't care about most people's politics when I'm enjoying their looks or their performances.
The Dixie Chicks for example...I'm not even a big country music fan, but I do like their stuff (Kind of like Shania Twain).
I'm such a political junkie that I live and breath politics, but I refuse to allow my bitter partisanship to influence my enjoyment of "Entertainment" too much. Gotta get away from serious stuff once in a while.

Upom further reflection, I still definitely agree that she's desperate to resusitate her career.
It's quite a problem, but with such creative solutions (like making out with Halle Barry), I believe she can lick it!
