Am I the only person here who is finding racist undertones in the very idea of Sharon Stone urging producers and directors-- in other words, men in power positions-- to help her sexually exploit a younger black actress, in order to resurrect her own career?

I never thought about it that way, but you're probably right. Then again, she literally whores herself out for her career.
Upom further reflection, I still definitely agree that she's desperate to resusitate her career.
It's quite a problem, but with such creative solutions (like making out with Halle Barry), I believe she can lick it!
