They have to make it clear that this is not a GOP sponsored effort. They are doing it on their own. Many of them would be voting for a Democrat candidate if it were not Kerry. Their point is that this man created a somewhat phony resume and is unfit to be the commander in chief.
I already had suspicions that the first "wound" Kerry received was self-inflicted, this is the first time I have heard that the second "wound" was also self-inflicted.
If these are/can be substantiated through documentation, Kerry is in for a VERY bad fall.
An observation:
The way the Kerry kampaign is screaming about the book, it would seem those Vietnam Veterans have Kaptain Ketchup by the ping-pong balls.
Notice they didn't say that someone was hired to make up trash. If they're claiming someone dug up trash on Kerry, isn't that an admission that the allegations are true?

Yep. I understand that one of his Purple Hearts was awarded after suffering injuries that required tweezers to remove a splinter and the application of a band aid. It's a wonder he made it through such a life threatening ordeal.
Here is a good one of claiming victim status and persecution.
