I really hate conspiracy stuff, but I remember Tim McVeigh initially being arrested because (as a radical Constitutionalist) he did not EVER have a driver's license. Then he was convicted and sentenced to death on the key piece of evidence that he'd rented the Ryder truck, in his own name and with a driver's license he'd never had and was never presented into evidence. Not to mention the confession he'd made after being kept awake for 72 hours straight. Then there's the issue that the FBI has called the bomb identical to the Al Qaeda bomb used at the WTC in 1993. McVeigh was apparently a Constitutionalist and was accused of being a racist, skinhead, and neo-Nazi...which made him exempt from the due-process laws that apply to everyone else. I'm not a fan of the guy, but I just have never been convinced that he actually did this since the key pieces don't fit.

The one key piece that never fit is this: if McVeigh had no qualms about killing potentially 1,000 or more people, then why did he have such a moral issue over just STEALING a truck to blow up? It's not logical that the guy would plan so extensively and then RENT a truck to blow up with his REAL NAME. It never made sense to me and it seemed the government's case was just too easy.
