The wife and I are living in Morganton, NC. We're between Charlotte and Asheville. We bought a little lot on Lake James since I like to fish and swim a lot. Lake James is really sorta neat since it's fed by two rivers and on stream feeding the Lake from waters coming from the Blue Ridge Mountains. I worked in Ralerigh back in 1994 on an IBM project in Research Triangle Park. Boy, what a bunch of lazy folks at IBM. These guys were sitting in chairs, reading newspapers and gettin paid for doing nothing. Really pissed me off. Our guys overseas in combat are/were earning 1/3 the IBM'ers pay and living in tents, and eating canned food. I was livid with disdain with these assholes. My brother was a combat veteran in Vietnam. He was a chopper pilot. Not a combat chopper. He earned his Captain's insignia, flying into hotspots rescueing our guys. He never talks about it though. I think he puked at looking at GI blood. He was the pilot/delievery system in getting our men out of combat zones. He did it for almost two tears. Today, he HATES the military. He must have flipped. Bill won't talk. Cheers. Mark
