Seems every time I "click on" to some article/web-site purporting to rebut the Swift Boat Vets, it ultimately takes me to Joe Conason and "Salon"...what's that all about? And BYW, is Conason a P.H.D. of any kind? (Not that that's any guarantee, of course, but you know what I mean!)

That is about a once popular website that fell apart in 2000 desperately trying to get its Left Wing credability back. Don't worry, no one is reading it.

Gratuitous Salon Daily Stock Deathwatch BUMP:

Looks like some more Rats have been contributing cash recently to the propaganda arm of the DNC (Salon).

Stock rose from $0.14 to $0.21 a share Friday.

Recent news was not good so "investment" is not what the "investors" are interested in:

Salon reports net loss for Q2 ( Aug. 5, 2004 )

Salon (SALN: news, chart, profile), publisher of one of the oldest online magazines, lost $1.2 million, or 8 cents a share, versus its year-ago loss of $1.3 million, or 9 cents a share.

On a pro forma basis, excluding depreciation and amortization charges and other items, the company's profit from operations was $163,000, or breakeven per share.

Revenue rose to $1.73 million from $1.05 million.

Salon said it doesn't anticipate another pro forma profit in the third quarter and added that revenue would drop to between $1.3 million and $1.4 million because of seasonal weakness.
