Actually, it's having been reared by my father the Colonel and surrounded by plenty of family and friends who've served which makes my stomach turn as I read the sort of comments which are by no means limited to the Christian cackling over the notion of holy places, the bombing of same or faithbased resistance to an occupying force from the vestiges of those brave souls who took on Saddam without benefit of Clean Hands, deep pockets or military might sufficient to take on anyone but our peers the former Soviets and the Chicoms primarily responsible for the global network of terror whose timetable we'll keep to hereafter.
Then why single out Christians?
All faith-based resistances are created equal, aye? I don't think so. BTW, the "faith-based resistance" is in the minority in Iraq. That would make THEM the attempted occupiers.
