Here's something more on the Boston Globe story claiming that its reporter Kranish was not connected to the Kerry/Edwards official campaign bio:
BOTH THE OLD KRANISH COVER AND THE NEW KERRY/EDWARDS COVER HAVE THE EXACT SAME ISBN NUMBER ACCORDING TO THE PUBLISHER, AMAZON, AND BARNES AND NOBLE. If these sites are accurate, the books are connected as revisions!
ISBN's are unique identification numbers given to every book that comes out for identification purposes. No two different books have the same ISBN. Only books that are identical do. If the numbers are accurate this should mean that, just as the New York Daily News published, the new Kerry/Edwards book is a revised substitute for the Kranish one. In other words, Drudge and all the others who originally reported on Kranish's tie to the project were right.
Compare them and you will see they are one and the same:
ISBN FOR KRANISH COVER ACCORDING TO BARNES AND NOBLE: 1586483145
ISBN FOR KRANISH COVER ACCORDING TO PUBLISHER SITE CACHE: 1-58648-314-5
ISBN FOR REVISED KERRY EDWARDS COVER ACCORDING TO PUBLISHER SITE RIGHT NOW: 1-58648-314-5
ISBN FOR REVISED KERRY EDWARDS COVER ACCORDING TO AMAZON: 1586483145

It's for Kranish's spanish translation of his Kerry bio, called "Kerry. La alternativa a Bush"
Anybody know what this means?
From Babelfish;
"George Bush has become the more controversial president of the United States of last means century. Before the transcendental North American elections of November of 2004 John F. Kerry it appears like the only alternative to defeat to Bush. But who is in fact Kerry? It has real possibilities to win to Bush? This book, based on a work of investigation published by the authors in the prestigious Boston Globe, constitutes the deepest and present biography del that can be the future president of United States. "
Darn, you beat me to that ping. I couldn't remember who had posted that thread :)
You'll be interested in this.
Someone posted that Rush said that advance copies had already been distributed with the Krainish intro.
Can you post the link? The image doesn't seem to be loading. Thanks
I don't know why the image won't come up. But here is the link to B&N:

2 for 1 ping. Not only do we have the Kerry campaign caught trying to cover up, but also a 'journalist' blatently lying in print 'Blair-style' in a NY Times publication.
Amazon.com Sales Rank: 3,360
*snicker*
I send the SPJ Code of Ethics to media a lot but for some reason never get a reply. :) I usually tell them to go back and take a course in Ethics since it is obvious they have never had one in the first place. This applies to Boston Globe from management on down IMHO.
Correction:
"Anticipating President-elect Nixon's illegal directions, I ordered MYSELF into Cambodia even before Nixon took office!"
All very interesting, but it doesn't change the fact that the titles and cover photos....with their titles...do not match.
It also does not change the fact that the campaign book was out LAST MONDAY, yet Drudge claimed Kranish was dropped from the book later last week.
It also does not change the fact that Drudge originally reported Kranish was writing the intro to "Our Plan," and later changed his story and said it was "Kerry/Edwards."
No dice.
Look, Kranish is a liberal reporter who is helping Kerry spread his lies. But, he was not writing for Our Plan for America.
The ISBN info is odd, however. Even if the books were changed, it makes no sense for them to have the same ISBN. Something is fishy there. Different books have different ISBN numbers.
Thanks for bringing it to our attention.

Someone needs to scan it and put it online.
