I've heard people accuse Dr. Keyes of being too dogmatic, too far right, a publicity hound. I don't care. The man makes more sense in his views than any ten politicians I know. He can come off as somewhat strident in his speeches I suppose, but in a debate I've seen none better. It's refreshing to see someone so unapolegetically comitted to conservative values. I used to watch him on his T.V. show and his logic is inexorable. He may not be "electable" in the nuanced, polished and pre-packaged, pandering Madison Avenue sense of the word, but the American political world is better for his being in it. I wish him the best of luck in Illinois. He would be an asset in the senate.
You and me both, when deserved! ;-)
Lincoln-Douglas..part 2?
Keyes has to watch it when it comes to the stridence stuff. Obama has an extremely likeable personality from what I've seen, and that carries him far, in spite of whatever he really stands for or regardless of whatever good points Keyes will make. The DNC will jump on the first thing that can make Keyes look like a jerk.
Hey, there, GeronL! I like this article.

A prophet welcomed by the faithful remnant.
