It all comes down to the AWB. If Bush signs it, I'd expect the NRA to give support to neither candidate.

There will be no further membership in the NRA if they do not endorse the President. If Bush signs that AW ban renewal, and the NRA refuses to endorse him because of it, I'll SIGN UP for NRA membership.
