I am an NRA member and I receive the magazine " First Freedom " monthly. Read this months issue. Believe me, the NRA will endorse President Bush. They have been absolutely hammering Kerry.

But it still begs the question, why no endorsement of Bush 41 in 1992 or Dole (I can basically understand this one)?

Just because they have been hammering Bush does not mean they will endorse Bush. I agree with the NRA on the campaign Finance Law, and am also steadfast againt a renewal of the assault weapons ban. IF they endorse him, it will only be AFTER the AWB sunsets and he has done nothing to try to extend it.

They will NOT endorse Kerry, true, but they may not endorse Bush either. There may not be a Presidential endorsement at all this year.

The chickens are coming home to roost, I fear. The Prez signed it, in an effort to make the Congress grow some balls, and now the NRA has lost it's just before the election power to endorse him. Sad, but true.
