The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

Osama to air message ending truce offered to Europe

DUBAI: An Islamist website said on Thursday that Osama Bin Laden or his second in command was due to release an audiotape to declare an end to the truce he offered to Europe if it pulled troops out of Iraq.

“Expect an audio message from Osama Bin Laden or Ayman al-Zawahri,” said a statement on the Minbar Ahl al-Sunna wal Jamaa website, which has repeatedly posted terror-related news and videos by various shadowy groups.

“To all Muslims: expect an audio message from Osama Bin Laden on one of the satellite channels during which he will announce the end of the truce that he has given to the Europeans for a pullout from Iraq,” it said.

The authenticity of the statement could not be verified.

In a taped message broadcast by the Dubai-based Al-Arabiya television on April 15 the Al Qaeda chief offered peace to European states which refrained from aggression against Muslims and pulled their troops out of the Muslim world within three months. European leaders promptly dismissed the offer, saying the idea of negotiating with Bin Laden was absurd.

Isa is the third leader of the Mosque of the Martyr Izzedine Al-Qassam on West 63rd Street to be criminally charged since last year.

Ghassan Zayed Ballut and Hatem Fariz were indicted in Florida in 2003 for the alleged financing of terrorists in Israel, the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. Both men were charged with being members of Palestinian Islamic Jihad, a militant group that has taken responsibility for suicide bombings that have killed scores of people in Israel, the West Bank and Gaza since 1994.

Last month, Fariz also was indicted in Chicago on food-stamp fraud and money-laundering charges stemming from his operation of a convenience store here.

Saudi Arabia executes convicted Sudanese murderer

RIYADH – Saudi Arabia beheaded a Sudanese national on Friday for stabbing to death a Saudi man during an argument, the Interior Ministry said in a statement.
The execution in the northern city of Hael raised to at least 10 the number of people put to death this year in Saudi Arabia, which implements strict Islamic sharia law.

Boy, things have changed in Chicago. All the mosques - 63rd and Western, Kedzie. I grew up near 79th and Cicero, my dad worked at Sears near 62nd and Western so I knew the area well.

I despise the withholding of information for anything other than security purposes.

It's ok for the media to jeopardize our boys in harm's way by announcing how many got killed where and when, allowing the goblins to analyze their own effectiveness.

My take is that withholding casualty numbers in FL is purely mercenary. It's symptomatic, similar to some of the other things that we've talked about on this thread. The lack of public warning in Las Vegas, the failure to do anything about the borders, etc.

Maybe my take is wrong, but it seems to be all about the money. Wherever money and life compete, money wins.
