Tonight I heard two European journalists on television explaining why President Bush is hated in Europe. Their explanation was that many Europeans are offended by his mentioning his faith.
Lord, You have promised us that You will honor those who honor You. Through all the troubles of the past few years, through all the attacks, the mocking, and the hatred pouring forth, the President has honored You in public and in his private life. I claim Your promise for President Bush, and call on You to intervene between the President and his enemies. Protect him and encourage him through this difficult time.
Look after his wife, Laura, his daughters Barbara and Jenna, and his parents and siblings as well.We know that they are under constant threat of attack. Confound those who would do them harm.
Lord, I pray for our military as well. Many are unable to read their hometown papers because of the level of hatred for their Commander in Chief. Encourage them in their righteous mission, and protect them from harm.
Signally Lord, I pray for this nation. We have those in the press, in the entertainment industry, and in academia who actively work against this nation. Humble those whose words are vitriolic. Soften their hearts and show them Truth. Let the people of this nation turn towards You and way from those who trade in lies and hatred.
Thank You Lord, for Your love and care for us, and most of all, for the gift of Your Son, Jesus Christ, in whose name I pray.

ohio, I've reached the point where I believe that the more we watch the news and the talking heads, the more we'll be discouraged. I'm actually thinking of backing off my perusal of the news, and spend more time in prayer. That's where the victory will be experienced.
Lord, we know GWB will give you all the glory. Thank you for his faith. May Your strength continue to energize him. PROtection is what I pray for. Protect GWB in the days to come. We need his leadership. Please, Lord redeam our country from sin, and self and flame.

And now we see the vicious fury of the Evil One ... the evil forces increase daily against the one whom You have set over the government of this country. I join Miss Marple and Your anointed intercessors in claiming Your promise to honor President Bush as he honors You. We gather round him ... and we gather to us his beloved family, and this administration, and our defenders and those of like faith ... we draw them into our circle of prayer and cover them with our garments of faith and petition, that attack and injury might not come near them.
And may it be, O Lord, that this daily gathering sends us once again to our knees, for never are You closer than when we are on our knees. In the Name of Jesus, my Lord, may it be thus, Amen ...
I too have decided to watch less, and pray more.
God is faithful, and regardless of what the Enemy does through the left and the media, HIS purposes will be accomplished.

Heavenly Father, we continue to lift up President Bush to you. He is your child and You are His Heavenly Father. I pray that he will keep trusting and depending on you. I continue to ask your Holy Spirit to wake up Christians to intercede in prayer for our President.
He has many enemies and we know you work in powerful mighty ways when there doesn't seem a way. I pray that you will give him wisdom and knowledge on how to deal with the terrorists who want to take down this country and this President. Give him supernatural wisdom and give his staff and the people around him the same.
I pray for his presidential campaign. Continue to guide it with wisdom and we want to see you glorified. I pray that the attacks from evil people will have no impact on our President and they will only hurt the attackers. We pray that "Truth" will come through during this campaign and that Americans that do not know the truth will start to find out about it.
You are an Almighty God who works in great ways. Help the President to solely depend on You. In Jesus Christ name, Amen.
