Lord, Please help us remember You are sovereign. You have called us to do what is right, and we are not to faint. Help us in our moments of despair and discouragement. Elijah thought he was standing alone, and you reminded him of all the rest who trusted in You. Help us to stand strong and not be afraid, no matter the circumstance.

Give our President courage, and make his enemies stumble. So many want our President to fail: evil men in Iraq, evil men here at home, and even some well-meaning but confused voters. No matter their intention or motivation, Lord, we pray for Your hand to be upon George W. Bush today and throughout the campaign. Please help him to continue freeing the oppressed, speaking out for the unborn, and opening the gates of liberty. He is Your servant, and may he never forget the same.
