I've carried around a 35 year old cap in my various briefcases for years, 'cause I like to have something heavy to carry that takes up all the room in my case. Man, the cap was just way more important than his medals, 'cause he threw them away!
Enquiring minds might wonder if JF'nK regrets tossing something a bit lighter and compact, like his ribbons, over
the WH fence.

OTOH, disposing of what he appears to have acquired by, if not outright dishonesty, at least questionable circumstances, doesn't
seem to have brought him any relief or benefit.
