I guess all kinds of fiction get "seared" into the memory of a fraud.

"I guess all kinds of fiction get "seared" into the memory of a fraud."

Another reason I think, to discredit the actual interpretation of the 'saving the drowning soldier'. . .make than 'passenger in the boat' (as he references himself)story.

Yes, memories of war are seared. . .and the Vet - if I say his name it will be wrong and no time to check)- IAE, he prefaces his account first with a memory disclaimer. . .before going on to recount his saved by effen story.

One might just attribute this to his being an honest and careful man; which I am sure he is. . . but it almost discounts his 'interpretation' of the events that day. I guess he can rationalize; 'if Kerry had NOT pulled him out'. . .he might have drowned. That sounds more like where this story really comes from.

A truth. . .but not quite the way Kerry needed it dressed up; but a kind of truth, nonetheless.

Guess no one has checked to see if Kerry is showing his appreciation for his efforts or for the boost that Kerry's 'BOB' (Brother or Brothers. . .)has given him.

He was on O'Reilly last night; but could not stand to watch O'Reilly on this one. . .caught just enough and then O'Reilly starting to give the 'rationale' of the story - the way HE sees it. . .and moved on.
