True, but block 16 shows him CLEARLY on military service, in the reserves, until 17Feb72. Still on active duty while protesting the war and showing contempt towards officials. Showing contempt to officials is a PUNISHABLE offense under the UCMJ, still today, for officers.
Hmmmm...I have never seen a Silver Star with a combat "V" device.
Except that the UCMJ says within its text that it only applies to Reservists when active.
