i thought the people of california voted no to the homosexuals getting married. how did this end up in court? the people there already said no.

Yep, we the people of California voted against it. But the scumbag Mayor of San Francisco decided to issue them anyway.

The same way the liberals always do. If you don't like what the people decide, simply ignore them and take it to court and try to get your pet judges to overturn them.
