[Cal.] Drivers Licenses [for illegal immigrants; another deal in the works?]

Meanwhile a woman called in to Putnam and gave a report on the hutchinson meeting in temecula. She said Asa told the crowd there are 10,000 border agents on southern border, & 1000 on northern border,. He claimed there were never sweeps and they never cancelled them. he was red faced and almost walked out several times. Tried to diffuse the situation by opening questions it up to the audience, as opposed to the plan which was to use blue cards with pre-approved questions.

The woman said it was a very hostile crowd & Asa knows how to slick em over. tons of cameras 1000 people there,.. issa was booed several times,, asa said he doesnt want them (illegals) to 'live in fear'. it was reported to the crowd that 40 illegals were arrested on our naval base. illegals working at L.A. airport.. Asa said 'we have 8-12 million illegals. 40% have expired visas. we need biometric ids as a solution.. There was a lot of yelling and booing, chants of booing 'liar liar' . Asa said 40% illegals come thru az...asa said he doesnt like racial profiling 'its against the constitution'. Meeting lasted from 10:30AM -to 12:10PM. The crowd said stop all invasion, many mentioned 'Article 4 section 4'.

Meanwhile McClintock was on with George and gave this report on the budget:

There was a $4 Billion spending deficit last year.. this year if there are no cost overruns or revenue shortfalls. there is a $4.7 Billion dollar deficit.

Tom said spending is growing faster under Arnie than under davis. 7% increase under davis 7.3% increase in spending with arnie.

The govt spent $202 per person 40 yrs ago, when Unrue and Pat Brown were in office. (which works out to $1200 today with modern inflation adjustment terms.) We built highways, education systems, hydro electric and nuclear facilities, etc. Today we spend $2900 per person. and what are we getting?

"We are not headed in the right direction".

LMAO!! Amen to that. The saddest part is, most people are so blindly partisan that they only talk about the 'evil dems' but they never even consider that many in the GOP have the exact same agenda. I respect that you aren't oblivious to the truth of their traitorous nature. By the way, Cedillo has admitted that his people work with jeb Bush's people. but oh, sure.. the 'dems and repubs' are 'arch enemies'. ;-D
