Please correct title. Should read Musicians not Muscicians. Thanks so much!

Take that, Springsteen!! Pat is one of very few secular entertainers I will listen to and support. One of the great talents of the 20th Century.

Wait, I thought evangelicals weren't allowed at the R convention? Oh, those snakes in the media are just trying the old divide and conquer tactics again....never mind....

Not that I think Pat Boone is going to make up my mind in who to vote for. Thanks though, Pat.

It may just be me, but I would rather not have Pat Boone's endorsement.

I appreciate the sentiment, but Pat Boone just creeps me out, and his involvement with Scamway doesn't give him a lot of credibility, IMHO.

I met Pat Boone a couple of times, very briefly. My dad took me to see him perform at a small hotel gig back in the mid to late 70s. Boone wasn't setting the world on fire then, but he was still a small draw. Dad had the b***s to go to his hotel room and knock on the door.

Boone came out into the hall and greeted us very cordially. We chatted a while, and though he didn't want to talk very long (it was a bit late and he was tired), he humored us. We took a picture, thanked him and left.

The other time was at a charity event. Pat had to interact with some very unfortunate, diseased children. He was a real gentleman.

On a humorous side, has anyone ever seen the video (I saw it on Country Music Television's 100 Funniest Moments or something like that) when Pat Boone lost his toupee on live tv? He was whipping a rodeo rope around or something and it got caught on his wig, and the wig went flying to the ground. Pretty damn hilarious.
