I never, ever, under any circumstances, watch any program. in any venue, that includes little Chrissy Matthews. He is a waste of air.

Yes, the hardball show was a setup. But the Dem goons can't stop people from buying and reading the book "Unfit for Command." As people read the book and discuss it, there will be a slow but steady erosion of support for Kerry and a large number of swing voters will decide to vote for Bush because Kerry is thoroughly dishonest. O'Neill does a great job of being honest, factually correct, and relatively non-partisan. Kerry is toast.

I agree--Its almost as if anyone who knew Nixon is somehow tainted. Matthues was set to sink this boat to save his pal John Kerry. But, the truth still burns bright. As the great Texan Sam Huston once said: " The Truth burns, but it burns clean."

"Look, they brought out both Carville and Lanny Davis in a tag team shoutdown against O'Neill on another show. These are the top-shelf Dem goons working on this one. They realize the SS Kerry is taking on water, and it's all hands on deck for the libs right now. No time for integrity, there's an election to win."

Great words. Had to repeat. As Merv Griffin said on his short-lived talk show....

"OOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooo....we'll be right back"

I noticed what Chris was doing toward the end of the show too. It made me so mad, I had to e-mail Chris to point this out.

Here is what I sent:

"Chris, I was appalled at your hypocritical treatment of John O’Neill during your interview. When it appeared Mr. O’Neill was making great points in the debate about the way John Kerry received his medals, I noticed you launched into your “rude interrupting, ask many questions in a row, and then answer them yourself” mode. Then when Mr. O’Neill began to protest this tactic, you contemptuously accused him of using a conservative tactic. The way I saw it, you were using the tactics. Your liberal tactic of suppressing the truth reminds me of a little kid putting their fingers in the ears and saying “blah, blah, blah” I can’t hear you."

Sure it was all setup. I watched it. Matthews had things he wanted to say. And he said them. John O'Neill could just as well have been in the men's room.

Matthews was painting O'Neill as some guy who has been "after Kerry" for 30 something years. A total lie. O'Neill has kept away from Kerry. He's been asekd many times over the years to come out against Kerry but has not until "now". And he would have come out earlier if not for his wife's illness.

Chris Matthews is no more a journalist that George Stephanopoulos is. Matthews is a punk. I'll never ever ever watch him again. Or Bill O'Reilly. Another punk!

The media tit that Matthews, Stephanopoulos, O'Reilly and Carville suck on is drying up. FreeRepublic is the new media.

If you invite someone onto TV just to abuse them, how is that so different from the Two Minutes Hate?

Matthews is responsible for the accelerated dumbing down of politics and talk shows. If it weren't for this vicious hack the Carvilles in the world couldn't have emerged.

Matthews was also actively in support of communism throughout the cold war. Now, he loves to talk about how "we" won.

He's stupid, unstable, and has a problem with alcohol. Dumb conservatives like him because he hated Clinton. That was all personal. To the extent that he has an ideology, he's still hard left.

you intentionally won't give me the time to respond with the truth you don't want heard",

There were 2 newsworthy issues that Chris ignored:

1.) Hurley: And the fourth person on this boat is a dishonest and ridiculous attempt.

O‘NEILL: We have just called the No. 2 guy in the Judge Advocate General‘s Corps a liar.

2.)O Neill: We had a private investigator, specifically to check this out, interview three of the crewmen. They confirmed to us that this Cambodia story was a lie....They were instructed specifically not to talk to us.

Nixon's always the bad guy, yet we hear barely a peep about Sandy Burglar and his NATIONAL SECURITY felonies.

I saw the interview and was shocked at Matthews' attack dog tactics, esp. bringing up the fact that Bush has no military experience in the field. So what? Neither did Clinton, and it suddenly becomes important?

The Demopukes can't get around the fact that Kerry maligned the troops as soon as he got home, putting those troops in danger.

Though I was getting sleepy, that got my attention. And Chris quickly moved on.

Maybe the Kerry Kamp heard it too and cooked-up the "January in Cambodia" revision.

Matthews did cross a line of pure,
personal, anti-Bush(even Laura),
anti-Republican HATRED, from all
I can learn of this. My theory?
His ANGER is exploding out of all
control b/c the man he worshipped
& used to hurt Bush/the GOP) -
John McCain - has gone with the
President in a vivid, public way.

When McCain was shown hugging on
the President, IMO, Matthews felt
like a scorned lover.

Seriously.

" Matthews did not have one nice thing to say about Laura Bush "

Matthews, who is now an expert on stem cells was in high dudgeon and lashed out at Laura Bush the other night.
He had on the feral Gail Sheehy to pile on the First Lady.
Matthews said that Laura Bush's comments " were crap."
He asked Sheehy, if Laura Bush " was a Stepford Wife "
and Sheehy called the First Lady " a tool."

Matthews, Lanny Davis and James Carville's public meltdowns are an indication that the SBVFT are having an impact.

I'm not sure they are connected by anymore than their political objectives, but it's an interesting angle. I also thought it was interesting that Matthews' spitting anger allowed Hurley to assume the role of the objective, reasonable portrait painter of the group of three. It seemed well orchestrated.

I know some here say that Matthew's performance was typical and I don't watch him regularly anymore to know, but to me his contempt for O'Neill put him in new territory. As I said last night, Matthews looked and treated O'Neill like a man who had just violated one of his children. It was that personal and that hateful.

I saw that & I was appalled. What really angered me was Sheehy saying because Barbara Bush is such an assertive person, George W had the need for a "subserviant" wife.
