Well, I suppose the only thing we can believe is that the Kerry camp has their own special map that the rest of us don't have access to, a map that shows that river that is the border between Cambodia and VN.
However, until they let us see that map, others will have to do...

Sorry if I sound naive, but wouldn't it be very easy to verfify his whereabouts in January of 69?
Maybe.
But given how OBJECTIVE FACTS have been so often twisted into differing
"truths" by Kerry as an occupation...
...how can we really know anything about anything Kerry has ever done?

Kerry's interchangabilities:
1) Medals, ribbons;
2) Christmas, January;
3) Cambodia, Vietnam;
4) Nixon, LBJ;
5) Truth, lies.
QED the difference between Kerry and a bag of sh!t is the bag.
Kerry, a bag of sh!t, these are absolutely interchangeable.

I remember Christmas of 1968 sitting on a gunboat in Cambodia, Kerry said in 1986 at a Senate committee hearing during a debate on U.S. policy toward Central America. I remember what it was like to be shot at by the Vietnamese and Khmer Rouge and Cambodians and have the president of the United States telling the American people that I was not there; the troops were not in Cambodia. I have that memory which is seared seared in me. If I am reading this correctly, he is calling President Reagan a liar. Is that right?

Looking at that map brings back memories. I have to say I was fortunate (and I mean that sincerely) that I spent my 15 months of Viet Nam service at Vung Tau.

Swift Boat crews regularly operated along the Cambodian border from Ha Tien on the Gulf of Thailand to the rivers of the Mekong south and west of Saigon, said Michael Meehan, a senior adviser in the Kerry campaign.Was Meehan on the boat with him?...Then how does he know?

If anybody should identify them, it should be kerry doing it. He's just not a good enough liar to pull it off. He's a complete phony who needs others to lie for him. He gives reasonably good speeches but, under pressure, I'd expect him to fold in a heartbeat.

Hoffmann said he was leery of Kerry's claim to have ventured into Cambodia in early
1969 to deliver CIA operatives or special forces soldiers.
I was always properly informed. The whole time I was there, I don't recall
such a mission, Hoffman said.
(humor mode engaged)
Why don't these Swift Boat Veterans for Truth have a little consideration.
It's obvious that Kerry can't tell the details of his invention of the
STEALTH Swift Boat and his invaluable "dark ops" into Cambodia. Like, his commanders
weren't informed because they might not have "disavowed any knowledge" of his missions
as in "Mission Impossible".
(end humor mode)
It is just a real d-mned pity that Saturday Night Live won't have a recurring
series of sketches on "The Secret Lives of John Kerry".
With Gov. McGreevey in a cameo.

FYI:
Economist: Forget Polls; Bush Easily Wins
By E&P Staff
Published: August 11, 2004
NEW YORK For all you pundits and political reporters out there who think the Iraq war will have a major influence on the fall election, or who think the Bush-Kerry race is a toss-up, Yale University economist Ray C. Fair has a message for you: forget both. Iraq won't matter and Bush will win in a landslide.
In an interview to be published in next Sunday's "New York Times Magazine," Fair told Deborah Solomon, "My latest prediction shows that Bush will receive 57.5% of the two-party votes ... the chances that Bush loses are very small."
Fair, who claims to be a Kerry supporter, is described by the Times in the Aug. 15 issue as being known for creating an econometric equation
