"Yep, I know at least somebody on Rush's staff lurks, because I've heard him make points in his monologues that were posted hours or days before on FR."

I can only speak for myself on an observation. On 08-13-04 at 8:36 am AZ time (PDT) I made the post below. It was 9:22 AM AZ time (looked at clock) when I heard Rush repeat same almost verbatim.

So, if Rush does monitor FR, I guess Kudos are in order for us all, Rush's audience is much larger than FR's, the word does get out and as they say, imitation is the most sincere form of flattery.

McGreevey put the people of NJ in danger by putting his totally unqualified lover in charge of Homeland Security for the state of New Jersey.

This cannot be repeated often enough, the democratic governor McGreevey did not give a damn about safety for the People of NJ. He put the citizens of New Jersey and our entire nation at risk from terrorists for the most selfish of reasons, his deviate sexual gratification.

McGreevey actions were nothing less than criminal and he should face the stiffest of charges for his selfish and reckless behavior.

But we need our vets here to verify.

Or our Vietnamese or Vietnamese-Americans. I'm neither (well I am a vet but not of the Vietnam war, only of that era) but that is my understanding as well.

Dogs were once normally used for food in Viet Nam. These days that is pretty much limited to folks in Ha Noi. In Sai Gon there are still restaurants where dog is available but that is chiefly for tourists who wish to experience "authentic" cuisine or something.

Dogs historically had no use in Viet Nam, a country without a tradition of individual hunting. They were not needed as guards in the villages and in a very poor population they merely represented extra mouths to feed. Since the Communists gave up on collective farming and turned food production over to the private market, food is much more plentiful than it was less than a generation ago. Feeding a dog doesn't preclude feeding one of the children. The Communists have also embraced de facto private property in land (de jure for the last couple of years) and increasing numbers of people live in houses with yards in the American sense. Most folks who are prosperous enough to have yards, even renters, have yard dogs. They aren't large, most seem to be 20-30 pounds, but no one salivates looking at them.

The southerners understand that Americans are horrified at the thought of barbecued Rover ribs and have discontinued the practice of canophagy. They have now traditional Western uses for dogs, a few even hunt with them, and want very much to be accepted by Americans as civilized.

Exactly. It's been a few years, but remember hearing him recite almost word for word something I said about Clinton, and we were calling x42 "The Manchurian Candidate" for selling nuke secrets to China long before Rush ever picked up on it.

Wouldn't it be hillarious if the Swiftboat Vets have a picture of Kerry gunning the boat, and Rassman falling off the stern? Ya gotta dream. ;^)

Should we all be sending these articles to any, and all the media?

Which ones?

Lets get the addresses and start sending them until they can't ignore us.

Well I heard the story also from my unit mascot DEROS. Being part animal myself I can communicate with cats, dogs, and some sheep.

The way I heard the story is VC swam to another boat and when pulled out of the water, said or woofed, in broken Canine American Vietnamese, to the dog on the other boat, "For goodness sake get me out of that chickenshit outfit, the skipper over there is a lunatic".

Well .. these guys didn't LIVE on their boats. They had a camp where they lived and ate. You can't say they didn't know each other even though they were on different boats.

That's like saying a flight squadron cannot know each other except they fly together .. that's stupid.

While I don't know about the situation in-country, the street vendors in Olongapo would never really tell you exactly what kind of barbequed meat they were peddling. (It was pretty tasty though.)

Sweetie, McGeevey just wanted to be satisfied. To heck with the citizens of NJ. I understand he even brought "his satisfactioner" from Israel for that purpose, then had the citizens of NJ pay for the satisfactioner's upkeep. I've read the citizens of NJ knew about the corruption of McGeevey for many years. They have asked for the bucket of worms they are now made to clean up. Hopefully they have learned a lesson.

OOPS OOPS "satisfactioner" should be "satifer", both times. need to proofread.

Its one of the first things that occurred to me. Firing of ammunition in a war zone, at the very least, could risk drawing the attention of the enemy. What if a sniper had picked off one of our soldiers while Kerry was engaging in this careless act of self-agrandisement? This man is too reckless to be the leader of the dog pound, much less Commander-in-Chief of the USA. IMHO

Excellent view of how he really stood with the vets.... but did they really serve with him? They weren't touching him, so I'm not so sure they could tell what was going on. LOL!!
