BTTT!!!!!!
i'm NOT too FONDA HANOI-John!
free dixie,sw
Well .. I'm strongly leaning that way myself after reading that Kerry tried to bribe and intimidate Admiral Hoffman. I was so stunned when I read the Admiral's account of Kerry's phone calls.
First phone call: Kerry asks the Admiral to support him. Admiral says NO! When Kerry's book, "Tour of Duty" was released, the comments about the Admiral were devastating. [Was this payback because the Admiral wouldn't support Kerry?]
2nd phone call: Kerry actually admits to the Admiral that Kerry's statements about the Admiral, in Kerry's book "Tour of Duty" was "not good" .. and then Kerry tells the Admiral that if the Admiral stops supporting the SBVs, then Kerry will write an ACCURATE revision for his book. [So .. Kerry is admitting the statements in the book are actually NOT ACCURATE .. OR AN OUTRIGHT LIE ..??]
I'm still in shock. That's just SO BLATANT IN ITS BRIBERY AND INTIMIDATION. After I read it, the first thought that came to my mind was .. THIS POMPOUS ASS KERRY IS JUST ANOTHER CLINTON!! Dear GOD .. help us to keep this fraud out of office.
You are exactly right about the media. Much as I detest DNC elected officials and their platform, I consider the mainstream media to be domestic enemy #1.
If the press would report honestly, these elections wouldn't even be close and they know it. Republicans would win in landslides because honestly, who wants to pay more taxes?
The truth is to Democrats what kryptonite is to Superman. They can't exist in the same room.
That is shocking, even for Kerry. I hope the Admiral gets to tell this story in public over and over. It will kill Kerry's chances.
Good-O, the logo grabs attention, I will use it from now on.
.
If we Vietnam Vets had had the Internet upon our return home from the Vietnam War to fight for CLARITY with, against the lying likes of JOHH KERRY, WILLIAM CLINTON, DIANE 'Hillary' RODHAM and CBS-TV's WALTER CRONKITE...
...Vietnam would still be free today and our own Freedom would not now be at risk in a new Century.

I understand this account by Admiral Hoffman IS IN THE BOOK, Unfit for Command.
I can't get over this .. it's such an indictment on Kerry's character.
It's not just bribery and intimidation, it's SLANDER!
Can I have some?
If you think back Ill wager you cant remember one single story from any of the alphabets (ABC, NBC, etc.) questioning the motives or the honesty of the people who brought the AWOL charges. Their motives were assumed to be worthy and pure. It was the president on the spot, not the detractors.
From yesterdays Mpls (red) Star Tribune
Nothing but a dirty trick
So now we have a mob of "Swift Boat Liars" being funded by millionaires from Texas. If Donald Segretti is out there somewhere, I'm sure he must be smiling.
Bryan Emmel, Fergus Falls, Minn.
Where's the coverage?
I am truly amazed and appalled no major news outlets have picked up the allegations made by a group of Vietnam veterans about the military service of John Kerry, other than efforts by his campaign to discredit the group and to threaten legal action against those stations that run the ads.
I thought we had freedom of speech -- but apparently only if you're on the left.
The media spent weeks covering President Bush's National Guard service.
Doesn't Kerry's service also deserve to be scrutinized?
Mary Keller, Hopkins.
I know lots of freepers who have donated money to the Swifties. Probably at least a couple dozen.
"Money talks..Bullsh*t walks"
Is it worth a couple of bucks to see the french one beaten like a bongo drum? YES!
Would it make the news?

As I have posted elsewhere (and will again if the subject comes up) my father got one little ol' PH after two years of jungle combat as a 32nd Infantry rifleman in New Guinea and Leyte. He was strafed and seriously injured in N.G. and later nearly died of disease and starvation when his Co. was cut off on Leyte. He spent a 14 months in the hospital and died way before his time as a direct result of his WWII experiences.
From his letters home I can tell his motivation to hang in there was his desire to get the job done and go home. I can't help wondering what he would think of a resume padding fake like JF'nK. I guess it wouldn't be pure admiration.
I'm proud of your father's deeds. They are no unrecognized.
