Does Kerry have a bunch of amatures running his campaign? We are watching a preview of the potential "Kerry Administration." Anyone who has ever worked in a small or medium company where the chief executive is a sociopath has seen this. Nobody on the staff knows what the plan is. The staff is subjected to regular, rambling "talks from on high" about the Long Range Plan Of The Week, but next week they're back with another one that's 180-degrees out of phase with last week's "long range plan." Nobody knows who's in charge, and no one can predict what the CEO might do next that is totally out of left field compared to what the plan was. The place is a huge buzz of activity, but nothing ever gets done. "Go right!" "Go left!" "No, we're going down the middle!" "It was due tomorrow. Now they've changed it again. We're gonna do this instead. Get right on it!" In this environment, you have well-meaning staff people who are trying to do their jobs, but they have no clear direction and no real organization to their activities. No one vets the stuff on the way out because no one is sure who is in charge. So out it goes, the best they could do in a hurry with no supervision and no guidance. If Kerry gets to be President, it is going to be worse than Jimmy Carter. There will be one SNAFU after another. This isn't just incompetent staff work. It's too regular and consistent. This is a management style we're seeing here. |
Or Toon retreads doing exactly what they're supposed to do :)
