KERRY FLIES D.C. HAIRDRESSER TO OREGON FOR TOUCH-UP
Mon Aug 16 2004 22:37:16 ET
SUPERCUTS: Dem presidential hopeful John Kerry flew his Washington, DC hairdresser to Portland, OR last week for a touch-up.
CRISTOPHE stylist Isabelle Goetz, who handles Kerry's hair issues, made the trek to the West Coast, the NY DAILY NEWS will report on Tuesday.
Last spring, DRUDGE detailed how Kerry flew Goetz to Pittsburgh for a trim...
The hair is the most important thing
It's nothing that a bunny suit hat can't cure...
Kerry has little Cambodians hidden in his hair. They need to be taken care of.
typical
Sweetie, he doesn't need a touch up...he needs a weed-eater. There's a colony of rats running and doing nasty things in that "bush".

Kerry XIV......The Sun Kink
GWB should pop in to the corner barber shop for a trim during a campaign stop. I think JFNK would not have the courage to follow suit, bronze star or no. His locks are too important to him.
"GWB should pop in to the corner barber shop for a trim during a campaign stop. "
Can you imagine the howling of the Secret Service??? A stranger with scissors and razor working on the Leader of the Free World. I think not!!
Life's great when you're a billionaire. Only little people go to a barber shop.
BTW, did you know that he served in Vietnam?
Demwit party has lots of money. Now donate more.
Shades of Clinton! Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesh.
Senator(and I use that term lightly) Kerry flies his hairdresser to the west coast for a trim and the "heroic" Kerry can't show up for 2/3 of this year's Senate vote? What a self-absorbed assh@le.
bingo.
Aw heck, the plumbers and carpenters can do it too, I mean, how much does it cost to fly in your own barber, $250?
This really gets into my craw. Here we had one President Doofus, in Air Force One, who shut down a runway at LAX for a haircut.
Now we have a Pretender to the Throne, who is so out of touch with mainstream reality that he pulls off a caper like this.
God, please save us from ourselves. To think that such an abomination could be a contender to the presidency sends chills through my aging spine.
But, I wasn't in Cambodia that Christmas, so what do I know.
Reminds me of Klinton on the tarmac getting his $200 haircut.
Well, you know what they say: Kerry means FINE DINING...
Really though, it was his psychiatrist posing as a hairdresser. Both work on the same area, therefore the mistaken identity.
Sounds a bit like Klintoon to me. It's an example of him impressing the "average American" just how AVERAGE he is himself.
Haven't been able to get Drudge for 3 days. Yet I can use the link in this article to go to this story on his site. What's going on?

CASH AND COIF: KERRY HAIRCUT COSTS $150
**Exclusive**
Democrat all-star John Kerry of Massachusetts is positioning himself as a populist politician while he takes the first step for a White House run...
But the self-described "Man of The People" pays $150 to get his hair styled and shampooed -- the cost of feeding a family of three for two weeks!
MORE
Maintaining his reputation for best hair in the Senate, Kerry was recently seen at Washington's famed Cristophe Salon, according to sources, getting perfectly cleaned and coifed by Isabel Goetz, Hillary Clinton's hairstylist.
Between salon runs, Kerry has been on the stump advocating "the needs of average working Americans, middle-class families" who are "struggling harder and harder on quality of life issues."
"When it comes to his hair, Mr. Kerry is very, very particular, " says a stylist source. "The coloring and the highlighting, the layering... but the results are fabulous."
Kerry's haircare has become legend in media circles.
"It's always a fight to get mirror time," notes one green room insider at FOX NEWS's D.C. bureau. "He obsessively primps and poses before he goes on the air."
**Update: Kerry Confirms Cristophe Hair Cut Late Monday; But Salon Claims Men Shampoo and Cut Only Runs $75, not $150.

$1000 HAIRCUT? KERRY FLIES IN HAIRDRESSER FOR TOUCH-UP BEFORE 'MEET THE PRESS'
**Exclusive**
On the Friday before his MEET THE PRESS appearance, Dem presidential hopeful John Kerry flew his Washington, DC hairdresser to Pittsburgh for a touch-up, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.
Cristophe stylist Isabelle Goetz, who handles Kerry's hair issues, made the trek to Pittsburgh, campaign sources reveal.
"Her entire schedule had to be rearranged," a top source explains.
A Kerry campaign spokesman refuses to clarify if Goetz flew by private jet on April 16 or on the official Kerry For President campaign plane.
The total expense for the hair touch-up is estimated to be more than $1000, insiders tell DRUDGE.
One source suggests the hairdresser was flown to Pittburgh on Teresa Heinz Kerry's 'Flying Squirrel', a Gulfstream V private jet.
[The 'Flying Squirrel' is worth about $35 million. A deluxe model; plasma TV, two bathrooms, fancy mahogany and burlwood paneling, gold-plated fixtures.]
"Senator Kerry thinks Isabelle does a superb job," a campaign source said.
Goetz grew up in a small town in eastern France. She also does Hillary Clinton's hair.

Hope this helps
Ah yes, Isabelle Goetz stylist to da starz.
Everybody...all together now....can you say CRISTOPHE??
Shades of Clinton, indeed. Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesh is right!
Yeah, but only to Oregon.
Yep...we all have good memories;which Kerry is going to be oh so sorry about.
Disgusting, hard to imagine a phony 8astard with an ego like that. I would literally be ashamed of myself for being such a metrosexual girlie man, phfftt, forgot, Cambodia Johnnie has no shame.
More proof that he's a Man of the People.
Hair today, gone tomorrow. He just wants to look good on his upcoming fact-finding vacation to "Cambodia".
I have haircuts, Kerry has "hair issues"
Yup. Man of the people all right.
Just when I thought Kerry couldn't do anything stupider than 'bunny suit,' he tops himself. If I were a democrat, I think I'd kill myself about now.
I'm surprised he doesn't have a full-time stylist that travels with him.
Oh, yuk. Most women prefer real he-men like George W any day. I'm sure W must have a regular barber...and not a "hairstylist." Go W!!
Pray for W and Our Troops
He could get that crappy haircut at Great Clips for $10.99.
Now the truth can be told: We went into Cambodia to discover the secret of Cambodian hair. Their hair was mysteriously bouncy and shiny, never stringy or scraggly. I can't tell you what happened on that mission, but let's just say that under a Kerry administration our military will never be ill-equipped to fight split ends, either at home or abroad.
Kerry, no doubt, needs to look his best; as he campaigns about the excesses of the rich Republican's.
. . .this rates no more than a 'chuckle' from Michael Moore.
Oh, I'm sure someone in the Secret Service knows someone who's cousin is a Republican barber Bush could pop in to see. It would make for great copy.
Who paid for it? That wife of his or we taxpayers?
I would bet, if Kerry was handed some nail clippers and asked what they were and how to use them, he would be dumbfounded.
One source suggests the hairdresser was flown to Pittburgh on Teresa Heinz Kerry's 'Flying Squirrel', a Gulfstream V private jet.
Again, how much gasoline/oil did Kerry burn for this haircut?
[The 'Flying Squirrel' is worth about $35 million. A deluxe model; plasma TV, two bathrooms, fancy mahogany and burlwood paneling, gold-plated fixtures.]
"Senator Kerry thinks Isabelle does a superb job," a campaign source said. Goetz grew up in a small town in eastern France. She also does Hillary Clinton's hair.
Now, I am thorougly; totally . . .'ticked'.
