"serious liver disorder and suffered from depression due to her medication."
She wasn't too sick or too depressed to have sex though was she!
I hope the image of the baby's head, and the feeling of it slipping out of her body stays with her for the rest of her life.

May this experience haunt them both for all eternity.
I have a feeling it will.

She had recently been diagnosed with a serious liver disorder and suffered from depression due to her medication. I agree--definitely a convert. If the medication she was on caused her side effects such as depression she was probably not thinking rationally enough to make a life and death decision. She has three children and there is no mention here of her ever having aborted previously.
I wouldn't be surprised at all if some doctor was whispering in her ear, "Its for the best. Really."
There is also no mention here, unless its in the link, that the meds she was taking would have threatened the baby's life, or if the pregnancy, had it been allowed to continue, would have threatened the mother's life.
This is all just sick and sad, to sum it up.

Pretty clever but gruesome. The truth hurts.

This same scenario happened to a good friend of mine who is a peds nurse at Northshore hospital. This woman knew that there was something in her, but she was unable to pass it w/o going to the hospital. Needless to say she was disgusted and so were the nurses on the floor having to listen to the thud of a child's skull as it hit the plastic bucket it was tossed in.
Abortion is murder no matter how you choose to phrase it.

Father have mercy on our souls. Thanks, all, for responding... my first thought on seeing this, was God Almighty, just when you think you've seen most of the horrors of the World, here comes a new one.
I hesitated before posting the nasty thing, have misgivings and regrets about doing it. But people need to see reality, too.
Here it is. I have always said that if women could see an abortion done, they would not want any part of it.

Thnak you, friend. I hated posting this damned thing. We have a generation and a half of women who need to be educated, and deprogrammed from the "it's my body and my rights" mindset drilled onto them by the culture of death.
I hope this new technology will help change minds, and hardened hearts:

Maybe she could get a T-Shirt from Planned Parenthood that says:
My abortion was an abortion.

Oh, dear Heavenly Father, how we kneel before You in thanksgiving for the blessing of all children. How sad You must be to see even one of them treated this way. Our hearts are breaking for this little babe, and the human choices which ended this little life.
Jesus, I pray that this story will energize your fold to rise up and join the movement to make abortions illegal again. Let this little baby help us understand that which so many people have not. Tears are not enough, Lord, and even good people, including myself, have failed to represent your unborn children at recent rallies. Help us, Lord, to remember that these tiny babies need our protection, and that when good people do nothing, more of them die every day.

"we wanted to have a proper burial."
So it finally dawned on her that she took a life. How such a simple truth could elude so many is incomprehensible.

re: "God is certainly not pleased with the US and West"
It is my sincere prayer that He treats us as individuals and rewards/punishes us based on our individual record, not as a country or people as a whole. I feel pretty confident that will be the case since the Bible has several stories where individuals were saved from retribution based on their behavior when entire populations were being eliminated en masse (Noah and his family, Lot and his family). It really bothers me how the rabid anti-abortionists are always citing God as their authority for their frequently misguided actions. My question of them is simply "do you serve a God who so impotent that he depends on people like you to take matters into their own hands and seek revenge?" Personally,I serve a God who is omnipotent and will hear my prayers and respond is a manner that He deems appropriate for the completion of His plan for me. My responsibility is to know that however he answers my prayers, it's for the best in the long run. Every prayer is answered, sometimes with a 'yes', sometimes with a 'no' and often with a 'not yet'. 'No' is a much an answer to a prayer as 'yes.'

This story and the one I read and wept over yesterday morning - http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1192280/posts - are almost too much to take. I pray for their innocent, little souls which never had a chance at life. The horror of it all.
