I think the lies were deliberately planted with the public, hoping that no one would notice the difference between Bob Kerrey and John Kerry. A fact checker, using a search engine, might actually miss it, even though the names are slightly different.

Kerry is an absolute moron. I STILL can't believe that the DIMS picked this turd. DAMN they're stupid.

Next thing you know, he's gonna be thinking he's married to Debra Winger rather than Ta-Ray-Za. And I won't blame him.

I saw Kerry's advisor falling all over himself about this issue on Fox and Friends this morning. The look on his face was priceless.

FOX News caught a sneering Kerry campaign flack in this error.

The vacant look on his face when he was informed that he was really talking about BOB Kerrey instead of John Kerry was priceless.

This is not the first time that the Kerry campaign has credited John Kerry with accomplishments of Bob KerrEy.

See my comment

#51 - John Kerry claimed credit for casting the deciding vote on Clinton's Jobs Bill
but Bob KerrEy was the one who cast the deciding vote.

So what?

I've mistaken myself for Bob Kerry two or three times over the last decade. Time to move on.

John Kerry Confuses Himself With Bob Kerrey. Of course John Kerry is afraid to run on his left-wing Senate record, but does that mean he should pose as a colleague?

John Kerry always wanted to win the Congressional Medal of Honor, so I guess his confusion is for the purpose of winning another medal he didn't earn.

It is pretty bad when even Kerry doesn't know what he did on the Senate Intelligence Committee!!

I guess when you miss most of the meetings, and have a rather grand view of yourself (is "narcissistic" enough for this guy?), the story tends to get blown out of proportion! That might explain his 4 months of "glory" in Vietnam too.....

Still on his site..............

"THE RECORD

Kerry joined the Committee in early 1993 and served until early 2001. "Kerry's website later pulled the plug on the page, which might be construed as a metaphor for the whole campaign."

That is hilarious!! Too bad someone will have to explain it in monosyllabic words to the average Dem!!!

The really frightening thing is, this man is actually close in the polls to W.

If the press was doing its job, and subjecting Kerry to the same scrutiny as W, he would be nowhere near.

We accept the severe liberal bias of the MSM because we are so used to it; we have always had it. But when you think how actively they are working to get this really deficient candidate in, it's frightening.
