Walter Mitty
Walter Mitty is an older man, I’d guess that he’s in his late 60’s or early 70’s, who leads two different lives. In his real life he’s a mild, quiet man who is easily bossed around by his pushy wife, but in his fantasized life he is always a calm, cool, and confident man who has the respect of many people.
In one of his daydreams he is the commander of a Navel hydroplane that has just sailed into a hurricane. "The Old Man’ll get us through" were the words of his crew. This daydream gives a good example of what Walter Mitty wishes he could be; a leader of some sort, who has many people who look up to him and admire him.

The profile fits. Scary, huh?
